Aqua Maids Water Exercise Class

What to Bring

WATER TO DRINK
It is important to drink water before, during, and after exercise. Please bring water to drink. If you forget, there are drinking fountains and a vending machine.

SWIMSUIT AND TOWEL
A swimsuit and towel are necessary. Aqua-Maids or Mills College do not provide these items for your use. You may wish to wear your suit to class to save time. Bring your own toiletries and dry clothes to change into after class.

SHOES
For shallow water classes (Sunday mornings & Tuesday evenings) Aqua shoes are not required, but are strongly recommended. Proper footwear helps protect the feet and provides arch support, protecting your knees, ankles and hips. Following is a list of acceptable footwear for use in the pool: aqua-aerobic shoes, aqua socks, clean new sneakers used only in the pool, or water sandals. Check our LINKS or ask instructor if you need resources for purchasing aqua shoes or aqua gear. Footwear (e.g., flip-flops) should be worn in the locker rooms.

HATS, SWIM CAPS & GOGGLES
Swim caps and goggles are optional. Hats and visors can be worn for sun or thermal protection. It’s a good idea to wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from ultraviolet rays. Prescription eyeglasses may be worn. Long hair should be tied back.
